As the end of 2009 nears I wanted to thank all my family and dear friends for their constant encouragement this year. My clients, no less – have been a blessing and I will never stop appreciating their enthusiasm and trust in my work. I wish everyone all the love, health and happiness for next year. I know that for Trésor Photography many happy days lay ahead and we have so many new things to announce – but for now I’ll give one away ….

The Knot Magazine recently gave Trésor Photography a great honor in naming us the Best of Knot 2010 for Houston Wedding Photography. Whether you were a client this year, getting married next year, or voted for me because you admire my work I thank you for the bottom of my heart. As a token of my appreciation, I promise to stay on top of my weekly Wedding Tips that I know many of you have said you love to read and miss (hey it was a crazy last two months around here!).

Boudoir sessions are not seedy and uncomfortable. Myself and the professional make-up artist/stylist is an all female team there to make feel your most beautiful and empowered. No, you don’t have to be a leggy size zero model… he loves you just as you are. Show him what he’s got!

We’re Moving In! {Houston Wedding Photography}

I truly believe that success come to all that truly look for it. And while I still have a long road ahead of me, the fact that I have keys to an office space makes everything feel meant to be. I can’t thank Carolyn, my roomie, enough for all the legwork in finding this fabulous non-generic office location as well as her upbeat vibrant vibe.

We’re both giddy with excitement and can’t wait to decorate it all and put our art on the walls. I’ll be posting progress photos, and hopefully by November I can pull together an Open House. No promises though!

Busy Behind the Scenes {Houston Lifestyle Photographer}

May is my busiest month to date – but I’m having a blast, and a lot of late nights. Closing up some senior orders, post processing two weddings and an engagement session. Just this week. This weekend I will be second shooting a wedding along side very talented Carolyn Jones. I can’t wait.

Workshop Weekend {Houston Wedding Photographer}

Hello all, just giving everyone a heads up that starting this Friday afternoon I will be out of town attending a Wedding Photography Workshop with the much accomplished Houston Wedding Photographer Aric Hoek of Solaris Studios. We’ll be at a colleague’s studio in Dallas, so I won’t be too available via phone or email. I should have all my albums and prints ordered and shipped out, recent sessions and designs proofed, and pretty much caught up with everyone. If you leave me a message or email, I should respond by Sunday evening. Cross your fingers that the rain stops – I’m using this weekend in Dallas as a mini-referesher before May kicks in. My busiest month to date!

It’s been a while since I’ve shown off some of the Boutique items I offer. I promise to do more of this in the near future. Within the next month my Client Café will go live. What is that you ask? Well, in an effort to keep this business green, and to keep myself organized – I’m working with the talented Valerie Ott to design this client only site. Once you express interest in booking a session – I will send you a link to my Client Café that has all kinds of information that you will need for your session. From package pricing, to forms, to payment. Everything can be done online and paperless! There will even be a What to Wear guide. I’m also launching the Boutique which will showcase all the custom and handcrafted items I have available. Some of these are included in packages, others are a la carte. Once the Client Café goes live – I will email all past clients to my Virtual Open House.

And because a post isn’t the same without some eye candy, here are examples of the Wallet Sized Accordion Albums. These pint size cuties are 3×3 and come in a variety of Eurohyde or Linen Covers.
