On Memorial Day I ventured to The Gallery to take bridal portraits of Aidah. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts I was not able to shoot her wedding the following weekend, so she asked if I could just do her bridals instead. I’m so glad I was able to meet Aidah and her talented mother that morning. They were oh so funny and made me be truly at ease. As a photographer it is quite exciting to meet a client and even more so when you find that her wedding dresses (two!) have been handmade with the love of her mother. Amazing.

How do you like Aidah’s bouquet? Cute right? Well only because yours truly made it. Aidah wasn’t planning on having flowers, and I wouldn’t hear none of it. So I headed to Randall’s and did my best with her favorite colors yellow and blue. Eh, maybe I should just stick to being behind the camera. I wasn’t able to see Aidah’s reaction to the photographs since she moved immediately to Atlanta after the wedding to be with her husband Saadiq. So Aidah, a wave from a far and wishing you the happiest of moments together.
xoxo
